We are proud of our five star rating and offer the biggest range of free activities in Cairns. We are located 7km south of the CBD on the southern access road to Cairns and should you wish to leave our beautiful Resort it is a short 8 minute drive to town, catch our free courtesy coach there three times a day, or take the public buses that leave from our front gate. We have a full tour booking and information desk available at reception and our friendly team will love to help you plan your tours and help with maps and local advice. All tour companies pick up at our front gate so park the car and relax – you are on holiday!

On site you will find our well stocked mini-mart for all your essential items and our Tropical Dining Cafe open for evening meals seven days a week. Our range of facilities has to be seen to be believed but to get you started here is a list of the most popular ones. Our 40 metre Sun Lagoon is full of mosaic tiles depicting, tropical fish, turtles and sea creatures. It has a small whale slide and a warm and cold spa. If you want to get fit try the 15 meter lap pool or simply laze around in the sun lounges under the Balinese style huts. Our Garden Pool is 30 meters long and features a water slide and toddlers wading pool for hours of fun for the young at heart. Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday it comes alive with aqua aerobics! Our giant jumping pillows are huge and everyone is invited to jump around for fun and fitness. We have two tennis courts, 18 hole mini golf, badminton, beach volleyball, basketball, indoor and outdoor movies, giant chess, a huge Adventure Playground, BBQ’s and so much more!! Did we mention they are FREE! That’s right don’t bother reaching into your pocket every time you want to enjoy our wonderful facilities just play away!

Getting There

From the North by car.
If you are coming into Cairns from the north, follow the signs to Innisfail or Townsville and you will pass through Cairns and head south. We are located just out of town on the right heading south.

Make sure you are in the right hand lane as you head south and turn right at the Anderson Road lights. We are about 200 meters up on the left hand side.

From the South by car
If you are coming from the south we are easy to find. As you near Cairns you will pass through the outlying suburb of Edmonton. This puts you approximately 6.5km south of the Resort. Keep travelling along the main highway. We suggest you keep to the left lane.

Our large sign “Welcome to Cairns Coconut…..” is at the beginning of our 500 meter highway frontage and you will see our giant jumping pillows, garden pool and mini golf before you turn left into Anderson Road. Our entrance is about 200 metres up on the left.

By taxi – please just tell the driver – we have been in Cairns over 20 years and are well known!

By Bus and train. We suggest you take a taxi to the Resort. It will take approximately 10 minutes from town.

From the airport. Please take a taxi. It will take 20 to 25 minutes from the airport.

Parking

Each accommodation unit has its own parking at the door.

• Great Barrier Reef – let us help you choose the reef tour that is right for you.
• Skyrail and Kuranda Train – we can organise you to be picked up or drive yourself to the station and we will arrange the transfers.
• Atherton Tablelands, Daintree and Cape Tribulation, Port Douglas and Mission Beach can all be enjoyed on tour or with a self drive itinerary.
• Enjoy a game of golf at the Cairns Golf Club within walking distance of the Resort.
• Shopping is a breeze at Cairns Central and Earlville Shopping centres – our free courtesy coach can drop you there three times a day.
• Enjoy fishing in the estuary or on the reef, catch a crab or just laze the day away at the Cairns Northern Beaches.
• If it is adventure we can help you with sky-diving, learn to scuba dive or try Bungy jumping in the rainforest.
• Cairns has so much to see and do and it is our backyard so let us help you to explore it!
