Novotel Cairns Oasis Resort $7 million renovation project is on target for completion in May 2008.

All 314 guest rooms are receiving a total make-over including new bedding, furniture and air-conditioning. The refurbishment extends to new carpeting and curtains, installation of new mini bars and all existing television sets replaced with flat screen models. A more contemporary décor will be embraced with muted natural tones and materials employed throughout.

Located in the CBD just 5 minutes walking distance to Reef Fleet Terminal, the resort is set in two hectares of tropical, landscaped grounds featuring a large free-form lagoon pool and cabana.

Each guest room has a balcony overlooking the gardens or across the city. The refurbishment provides a fresh, contemporary look while retaining the resort’s original tropical North Queensland charm.
